भारत के रक्षा क्षेत्र के लिए एक ऐतिहासिक घड़ी आ गई है। भारतीय कंपनी Flying Wedge Defence & Aerospace (FWDA) द्वारा डिज़ाइन किया गया AI-आधारित ऑटोनॉमस कॉम्बैट ड्रोन ‘Kaal Bhairava’ अब यूरोप में निर्मित होगा। यह उत्पादन Portugal की technology फर्म SKETCHPIXEL LDA के साथ साझेदारी में होगा, जो F-16 जैसे प्लेटफॉर्म्स के simulation systems में specialized है।

Kaal Bhairava एक medium-altitude long-endurance autonomous combat aircraft है जिसे लंबी दूरी की मिशन क्षमता के लिए डिज़ाइन किया गया है। इसकी operational range 3,000 किलोमीटर है और यह 30 घंटे से अधिक लगातार हवा में रह सकता है। यह दोनों आंकड़े इसे आज की पीढ़ी के सबसे सक्षम combat drones में शामिल करते हैं।
