ICAI ने CA Curriculum में AI शामिल करने का फैसला किया
भारत के accounting और finance क्षेत्र में एक ऐतिहासिक बदलाव की तैयारी है। Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) अपने Chartered Accountancy syllabus में Artificial Intelligence (AI), Data Analytics, ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance), Sustainability Reporting और Forensic Auditing जैसे आधुनिक विषय जोड़ने जा रहा है। ICAI President के शब्दों में — “AI is not a subject but without AI, no chartered accountant can survive.”
CRET समीक्षा और timeline
ICAI ने इस overhaul को आगे बढ़ाने के लिए Committee for Review of Education and Training (CRET) गठित की है। यह committee दिसंबर 2026 तक अपनी समीक्षा पूरी करेगी, और updated CA curriculum 2028 से लागू होने की संभावना है। यानी आने वाले batches AI और digital tools के साथ ही professional life शुरू करेंगे।
क्यों ज़रूरी हो गया यह बदलाव?
- Automation: Routine bookkeeping और journal entries अब AI-powered systems द्वारा हो रहे हैं।
- Data Analytics: आधुनिक CA को predictive analytics और big-data tools का अनुभव होना ज़रूरी है।
- Fraud Detection: AI-based auditing से fraud और anomaly detection बेहद तेज़ हो गया है।
- Global Standards: Big-4 firms पहले से AI-driven audit platforms पर शिफ्ट कर चुकी हैं।
पहले से चल रही पहल — AICA Level-1
ICAI पहले से Certificate Course on AI for CAs (AICA Level-1) चला रहा है, जिसमें working CAs को practical AI tools (जैसे Excel-AI add-ins, audit automation, anomaly detection) सिखाए जा रहे हैं। CA curriculum में full integration इस course का अगला logical step है।
CA Students के लिए इसका क्या मतलब है?
2028 के बाद CA पास करने वाले उम्मीदवारों को सिर्फ traditional auditing और taxation नहीं, बल्कि AI-driven audit, Python/SQL basics और ESG reporting भी आना ज़रूरी होगा। यह बदलाव CA profession को globally competitive बनाएगा और MNC clients के लिए Indian CAs की demand बढ़ाएगा।
