NVIDIA Isaac GR00T Reference Humanoid Robot का अनावरण 31 मई 2026 को GTC Taipei में हुआ। यह दुनिया का पहला open humanoid robot reference design है, जो NVIDIA Jetson Thor compute और Isaac GR00T open development platform पर बना है। NVIDIA का दावा है कि यह कदम frontier humanoid robotics research को democratize करेगा।
Hardware Specs — 6 फीट, 150 पाउंड, 75 DoF
यह robot चीनी कंपनी Unitree के H2 chassis पर बना है — लगभग 6 फीट लंबा, 150 पाउंड वज़न और शरीर में 31 degrees of freedom (DoF)। इसके हाथों में Sharpa Wave tactile five-finger hands लगे हैं, जो dexterous manipulation के लिए अतिरिक्त 22 DoF देते हैं — कुल मिलाकर 75 DoF। Multi-view sensing के लिए head-mounted stereo camera (140°×102° FOV), wrist cameras और IMU integrated हैं।
कौन-से Research Labs को मिलेगा
NVIDIA ने announce किया है कि leading research institutions इस reference design का इस्तेमाल करेंगे — Ai2 (Allen Institute for AI), ETH Zurich, Stanford Robotics Center, और UC San Diego Advanced Robotics and Controls Lab। Robot Unitree के माध्यम से late 2026 में commercially available होगा। यह कदम physical AI को academic आविष्कारकों के हाथ में देता है, जहां पहले proprietary platforms ही option थे।
Software Stack और Open Source
NVIDIA Isaac GR00T platform Foundation Model GR00T N1, simulation frameworks और एक open software stack provide करता है। Developers Jetson Thor edge compute पर real-time training और deployment कर सकते हैं। NVIDIA Jetson Thor की performance पिछली पीढ़ी की तुलना में 7.5x ज़्यादा है, जिससे humanoid robot real-world environments में जल्दी learn और adapt कर पाएगा।
भारत के लिए मायने

2027 तक humanoid robots का global market $38 अरब तक पहुँचने का अनुमान है। NVIDIA, Figure AI, Tesla Optimus और 1X इस race में लगे हैं। Isaac GR00T reference design industry-wide standardization को बढ़ावा देगा। CEO Jensen Huang ने कहा, “Physical AI अगला बड़ा compute platform होगा।”
